"I am a small business owner and my landscaping, fence building, drainage and concrete work business was directly affected by the BP Oil Spill. I filed my Oil Pollution Act claim directly with BP early on and got no response. I became discouraged from all of the talk and news stories of people who had lots of difficulty with the claims process. I hired Mr. Lavis on March 28, 2011. About a week later, Mr Lavis finished preparing the claim with all of the necessary paperwork and presented the claim to the Gulf Coast Claims Facility. Just two months after hiring Mr. Lavis, BP made me a fair and final settlement offer. I would recommend Mr. Lavis to anyone who has a BP Oil Spill Claim."
